1. About Student Travel Grant

IEEE HotICN 2018 conference offers a number of travel grants for students to attend the conference and defray their traveling cost. The number of these grants will vary depending on funding availability, the number of student applicants, and their respective priority. Please note that expenses will be reimbursed after the conference, and that grant recipients will be asked to submit original receipts to verify their expenditures.

2. Applicant Eligibility

Conditions for receiving an award are as follows:

• The student applicant must be a co-author of an accepted paper in IEEE HotICN 2018 and present it at the conference;
• The student applicant must be full-time student registered toward a Bachelor, Masters, or PhD degree in computer science, engineering or related field in a college or university when submitting the applications;
• During the expense reimbursement stage, the student applicant must show the proof of having registered to attend the IEEE HotICN 2018 conference;

Each award is up-to $300. A student who is awarded a student travel grant must attend the conference in person. The student must register, attend and present the paper at the conference. More details will be provided to the students who are selected to receive the STG award.

3. How to apply

Applicants must send an email to ndnlab@ece.pku.edu.cn by the application deadline.

Subject: For your subject line, please use “HotICN18 Travel Grant Application + your name”. It is required to “cc” to your advisor to make sure he/she knows that you are applying the travel grant.

Body: Please provide the following details in your email body:

• Name
• University
• Address
• Advisor
• Student email
• Role at HotICN 2018 (paper/poster presenter/co-author). If you are a co-author of a registered paper, please provide your paper title and corresponding track as well.
• HotICN 2018 registration order number
